We will gather for 1.5 hours via the handy Zoom portal on Thursdays at 6:30pm PST/8:30pm CST

Format:

I will open us up with a short grounding meditation followed by three rounds of prompts. Each session we will cover a few chapters of the book with excavations, insights, and our own perspectives on what comes in. I will offer guidance for spiritual practice based on the book's wisdom and hold us all in a respectful container of discourse allowing us to reach the depths of our own inner revelations from the book.

The book we will cover in these sessions is Ordinary Mysticism

In Ordinary Mysticism, Mirabai helps readers discover their own inner mystic and let go of the limiting belief that spiritual life exists only in traditional places of worship. Mysticism, she explains, is a direct experience of the sacred--no church or clergy required. Our everyday life can be an encounter with the sacred if we pay attention. Starr explores the magic of mundane life, from weeding in our humble gardens to a slow evening walk with a friend to a full kitchen table surrounded by family. Embracing mysticism in our everyday is a way of being more alive in the world, an awakening to the interconnectedness between all things.

I will cap the club at 12 participants so all have a chance to listen, share, ask questions, and offer insight within the 1.5 hour gathering.
